What is Teacher Exchange Programme (TEP) ?

The Teacher Exchange Programme (TEP) is a project aimed to help the locals organizing language courses. Through it every AEGEE-local can use the linguistic knowledge of all AEGEE-members.

Sometimes locals are willing to organize a language course but they can’t ‘cause of lack of teachers. That’s why the EDL-team thought to create a database to which can subscribe all AEGE-members with appropriate linguistic knowledge and able to teach their mother-tongue and at least speak well another language. In this way locals can use the database if they are looking for one or more teachers. The database is also available if you are looking for some teachers for your Summer University (SU)!!!

The local has to pay the travelling costs for the teachers and lodge them. So the local can get a native speaker teaching a language at rather low costs while the teacher gets to travel for free. Of course local and teacher can also split the costs...
